Gollem’s Proeflokaal

Place has great layout, beer assortment, helpful staff and good food. However the assorted beer list in the place lack information such as brewery, percent and even price. So everytime I order a beer I had to ask for some or all of above info.

Good place close to our hotel had some good Belgians on draft I had not had on draft before - food was good.

Compared to other Gollem locations, this one isn’t anything special or worth going out of your way for. 20+ taps, but nothing overly special. Bottle list is decent, but again, not worth seeking out. Pleasant, intimate, rustic interior and friendly service. Not a top spot with so many other awesome places in town.

Close to Vondelpark, service friendly, prices ok, selection good but not too special in some regards. if you are in the area, i would suggest it.

Rather big on the inside, old wood dark but oddly split up making it seem smaller than it was. Okay service, felt a bit dead, unexciting atmosphere-wise but than again everyone sat outside. Reasonable number of taps but almost all unexciting. Tiny Rebel seemed most interesting draft option but they were having issues with the keg so I was forced to drink a BE Tripel since I wanted a quick draft tick in order to make it on time for my Van Gogh museum time slot. Bottle selection seemed equally interesting, common Jopen, stuff like Maredsous, Schneider. This one felt a bit too stuck in the past for me, dunno, I don’t feel much need to ever return here & there are more exciting places nearby.

Not too far from Vodel Park. Medium size bar. Nothing on tap I was interested in, but I did find a gose to try. Average service. Selection was pretty good. Did not try the food. Prices are reasonable. I would come back.

Nice bar bit away from the city center. Good service, but no small pours (they did have some kind of flights, but couldn’t get a small pour of their ipa....). Prices are reasonable, but not cheap - Orval is 4.80. Overall: good, but not worth the trip from the center.

Stumbled on this place by coincidence, when we were searching for Craft & Draft, which is located a bit further away in the same street. Gollem’s third installment in Amsterdam apparently. Quite loud and very busy on a Sunday afternoon, but still cosy enough in a wooden interior. Beer list primarily revolves around Belgian classics and Dutch craft, completed with easy-to-get German classics and American craft, but overall, nothing a ticker’s paradise. Service was a bit inexperienced and neither very friendly or very knowleadgable. If you’re in this neighborhood, take Craft & Draft, which is cosier, much more exciting in terms of beer and much friendlier and more accessible in service. As for the Gollem chain: I still have to visit the other Amsterdam venues, but this one certainly is no match for the Antwerp installment, in my opinion, where many more tap takeovers and other special occasions are organized (though service is more or less comparable).

Rustic with a small patio. Small bit decent tap list, bottles are extensive but relatively normal. Tried hard to find a beer for me and barely succeeded. Average pricing. Not a ticker spot but OK.
