Visited on a Cubs game day but while the place was busy it wasn’t as busy as I had expected. Usual Goose Island range of beers,good service.

Stopped in on a Saturday night a few weeks after regular season had ended since we knew the Cubs would not be playing (heh). Was a bit empty- surprisingly low for that time of night. The barmaid was quite nice and friendly. Beers were good with some nice, non-distrubuted to my area, beers pouring. Can’t say I was blown away by any of it but it was a nice space and if you are a GI fan then it wwould be a real enjoyable place to visit. I would ocme back if in the area again but only if I had the time and there weren’t other places I wanted to go.

Disappointing place, will not recommend going there on a day of events at Wrigley Field. Big sports bar with an even bigger crowd.

A pretty cool brewpub in wrigleyville. Plenty of options and flights available on non-game days. Wish they would save some rarities. Good times though.

a number of your typical Goose Island taps with two guest taps. pre-game it’s PACKED with baseball fans, as expected. no biggies. still worth a stop as most other bars in Wrigleyville are a waste of time.

Let me preface and say that I like the Clybourn location much better, but this one is alright. Food is ok and lots of beer selection. Not as good as the selection at Clybourn, but when you are a block from Wrigley, it’ll have to do.

We came here after the Cubbies lost another heartbreaker to the White Sox this past weekend. I’ve heard about Goose Island from many of my friends and I have to say, they make a pretty good beer. We tried a few beers that you just can’t get in Houston and they were very good. Selection isn’t massive but they aren’t trying to serve you over 100 different taps. Food was great. While I would have preferred to sit downstairs with the rest of the raucous crowd, upstairs had its advantages as the servers weren’t covering 30 different tables and they were alot more attentive. When I get back to Chicago, I will definitely visit again.

Very friendly place, and a nice place to walk about in daytime. The girls do not know their beers, and the beers are decent but not cutting edge. A few decent bottles. Prices very reasonable. Long bar, lots of tables.

Not a bad place. Went after a ball game and it wasn’t insanely busy, although it’s still April and not that nice out yet so the crowds are smaller. The only thing I would have liked to see is a few more guest taps as I am not a huge fan of Goose Island stuff. I think they had two guest taps and one was empty.

Great place to grab a brew before or after a Cubs game. During these times the place is wall to wall baseball fans and service slows a bit but the food a beers are both solid and the "local talent" is top notch.
