74 Large restaurant by the harbour area. Nice place outside, inside is Restaurant to the left and bar to the right. Counted only two taps, but about 100 various bottles of good selection. Bottles esily displayed in glass cabinets. Will be back, you find stuff here that you do not find elsewhere. Nice interiour, good service, even asking if we wanted sake warmed up. Visited 25.04.2018 with Bryne. |
36 When Im up for great local beers I would drink it from tap. But there was just bull shit beer on tap from big breweries....on the outside we had just the choice between arround 15 bottles most from lervig. |
64 A large two-level restaurant and bar by the harbour. When entering the place the bar is to the right and an open restaurant to the left. Just in the middle there is a cooler for beer bottles and wine. Lots of Lambic, Kriek and Geuze, in fact, apart from a few bottles and taps from Lervig I couldn’t spot anything else than sour beers. Perfect patio outside. High standard place with lots of working people there. The service was friendly, however, with minimal knowledge of their beer menu. Perfect sushi food. (Reception during the annual meeting of Norwegian historians, 19.06.29015). |
94 Luxurious ambience. High class.
Only been there at daytime. Never had anything to complain aboutthe service.
Best sour beer selection in norway. Top of the line of sour beers in europe. Rare stuff like cantillon mamouche, fou fone, 3f framboos, owa yuzu and lots of other expensive shit. Food is one of the best sushi joint in norway. Not the cheapest, but prices are absolutely acceptable. |
92 The best place to drink sours and lambics in Norway. Beer service is excellent when Eivind is working. The food is awesome but also a little bit pricey like rest of the Stavanger food scene. Not a place to hang out, but a really nice place to eat and drink superb beers and wine. Go treat yourself... |
90 A top notch large restaurant with an impressive selection of sour ales, as well as other styles, many of them displayed straight ahead as you enter the building Service level is great and they are knowledgable both on beer and wine. The food is excellent and recommended, or you could just hang out in the bar lounge. I’ve done both during last year and had a great time both times. Though this is an expensive place, it’s worth it. |
74 It looks more like an above average class restaurant with a sleazy night club part, but the restaurant serves excellent food that justify the price. The night club looking bar is actually pretty laid back and a quiet place to sit for a while. The main attraction for the beer enthusiast is the absolute fantastic beer refrigerator with focus on high quality storage beer and especially sour beers. A wonderful selection with several gems you would not find any other place in town – prices thereafter. Feeling for giving yourself an extra treat or just a big night on town you should treat yourself with a sushi dish and a nice sour beer to match. Recommendable for at least one visit during your Stavanger visit. |
70 An upper-class look alike restaurant with an impressive beer list, that’s for sure! Nothing to seek out on tap, just ask for their beer menu. You are guaranteed to find a new beer tick. Do not go alone, bring a beer companion to share a couple of rare bottles. (Visited February 27th 2015) |
68 Have some rare bottles. Tap selection is pretty dull. |
64 Nice spot for a good meal, very limited selection on tap, but their bottle collection is rather impressive for a restaurant. Also possible to just have a beer in the bar, or take the bottle with you to the lounge, where you can relax and enjoy the beer in silence. |
