Hansens Brauerei

Visited 13/1/2023. Big beer hall brauhaus. Good atmosphere. Just offered their Schwartz and Pils on this visit. The Schwartz was the much better of the two. Food was good. Service fine.

nice place in front of the harbour, but also near to a main street, really busy place and when you have patience and a little luck you get a seat when people go, the food is typical standard German big portions not expensive, the beer is quite good for a small inn brewer, the Pils is nice the Schwarzbier is more interesting with fine roast aroma

The feel of Danish Kro. Hansen, a danish name. Frikadeller on the menu, which were delicious. At least four taps. Great weizen. Busy place, chose your timing cleverly.

Pretty standard german brewpub set on the harborfront. Hearty fare, alright beers, friendly staff.

I have visited Flensburg many times over the years and finally I got the chance to enjoy both food and beer at Hansens Brauerei. A classic German "Gasthof" situated by the harbor. Parking nearby. Very crowded this Maundy Thursday. Denmark is closed down but this is just an ordinary day in Germany. Wife and kids were hungry so I lured them to this place. They figured out why.... Waiting time for dinner was about 45 minutes, but the waiter warned us in advance. I was willing to wait for a Grillhaxe and a brewery tick! Anyhow, great food, more than decent beers and swift service. All were satisfied. 3 beers on tap: Pilsener, Weizen and Schwarzbier - the latter the best one in my opinion. Chose between 20 cl or 40 cl, Weizen was 30 cl or 50 cl. Food and beverage for five persons, an expensive place rating for me! (Visited April 18th 2019 with my family)

Visited on Sunday 26th Oct 2018, just about the only place open in the whole town. Easy to find, on a large corner plot facing the harbour. Liked the vibe and feel of the place, brewing equipment on show at the rear of the smart and clean public areas. Three of their beers on tap, each one fine and in good condition; staff friendly and helpful (I was given a free map, far better than the one I was struggling with while in the place). Food looked good, but the food on our cruise ship looked better! Score looks low because of the small beer selection.

Brauhaus direkt am Hafen. 2 Biere vom Fass. Gutes hausgemachtes Brauhaus Essen. Genau das richtige für einen Mittagsstopp.

Visited in July 2015. Very crowded already 11 am as we arrived for lunch. 4 beers on tap plus one seasonal. Quick service, great food (currywurst). Situated by the harbour, easy to find. Decent prices.

Nice brewpub by the harbour. Cozy place with the brew equipment in the bag of the restaurant. Cheap prices and friendly staff.
