Iíll say this for the place: it is attractive. Beyond its aesthetics, though, this place isnít really a beer destination. They have five casks running but only three beers (two pairs are duplicates) and the beers are really nothing special - Doom Bar, some other Sharps stuff, maybe Timmy T. The staff is friendly. The condition of my beer was decent. The prices are high for what you get but on par with this part of town. They have food but I didnít eat. Not even close to being a destination pub. Really just a place to go if youíre in Kensington and want a real ale.

This place has been recently refurbished and now looks like your standard upscale west London gastropub. The selectionís truly boring, and Iíd advise ratebeerians to steer clear of this place if theyíre looking for a beer. On my last visit, Landlord was by far the most adventurous beer available. The prices are quite expensive, the service ordinary. Scroll past.
