Visited for GBS and Bourbon GBS releases. Releases are well organized. Tasting room past the front door of the main facility with more tap service to the right in a re-modeled warehouse area. Half pints, pints, and growler fills available plus some merchandise. Other bottles and cans also available for purchase. Good service. Normally a few food trucks and vendors on site for their releases. Worth stopping by when theyíre open or if thereís a release youíre interested in.

Stopped in for the RIS release party. Very Classy type ambience. Two Bars, with about 8 different beers on tap. Pricing was excellent $6 half pints of release day beer? SHyea. Would like to stop back one time when its not as crowded though.

Warehouse in an industrial area. Decent parking unless youíre there for a bottle release. Two bars with taps as well as bottle and merchandise sales. Good service and definitely a place to visit if youíre in the area.

Been here twice. Both times were packed. Once for some bluegrass festival and another was because of a private function that forced us to the "smaller" side of the brewery. Service was decent both times. i didnít feel unwelcome but it didnít have that "feeling" to it. Beers were pretty good and they had decent selection to go. Would definitely return with hopefully a smaller crowd. Would also like to do a tour, if offered.

Stopped in with le Drake on a busy Thursday night. Thursday nights at Hardywood are apparently a big event, and many local food trucks were present to serve in what felt like a mini food festival. There were probably 6 beers available from a number of different locations around the brewery. No flights available, but a number of offerings were available by the bottle. Service was fine. Prices seemed to be absolutely extortionate. Should I really be happy to pay over $5 for a 12oz pour of a core IPA at a brewery? No. Anyway, worth checking out.

Converted warehouse space with crepes food truck out front. (Didnít try). They have a stage space for bands inside with decent acoustics. Smoking is allowed inside and so are little kids (both minuses for me). Outside they have a roped off parking lot area for the food trucks and picnic tables, corn hole, etc. womanís room was clean and well maintained, though single use. Picnic tables are inside as well. weirdly the table was wet even though it was inside. Additional portapotties are outside ( lovely). The brews are 10 oz pours in plastic biodegradable cups (negative) that range from $4 to $6 a pour. 4 beer flights in glass for $11 (I think). Bombers are available for $10ish and growlers of various sizes are available.

Hardywork Park is located in industrial warehouse park somewhere in Richmond. They had a tap room that opens up into a second brewery bar where they fulfill growler fills. They only had 7 available on tap but they had 3 others beers in bombers. Clearly this is a very popular place because there were people everywhere. They have a couple of lots next to their building but they were full so the street was lined with cars. The tap too, filled quickly so we found the last table in brew house which is not air conditioned and when filled with people gets loud and hot very quickly. Other than the four beer samplers, they served their beer in plastic cups which did it no favors. It seems like a place making ambitious beer but as an outing I think I would have preferred to visit on a Thusday afternoon.

They do a good job of having special yet public events here. Staff is prompt in service and the iPad checkout system is quite the novelty. Strange roped traffic flow for ordering in main area. Even in the middle of winter, the place is musty, humid and somehow hot. Everyone was sweating. Good place for the after work happy hour.

Finally made it here. Clean and nice tasting room and brewery. We had a group of a 100 or so and they kept our glasses full and seemed to love what they do. Just a few, but tasty, brews on tap, including some I hadnít seen out and about. The prices were better than average. This has kind of become a place-to-be in Richmond- yay! I will probably go back to check out their taco truck night sometime.
