48 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 8/20 Theydon_Bois (372) The ’Sham, England | January 27, 2013 Visited on Sunday 27/01/13 around 5.30pm prior to my flight back to London.
Airside at Terminal 2 in the food court, up the escalators. Terminal 2 is Aer lingus only - not sure whether you can gain access from T1?
This is a small bar with 4 taps all from the Porterhouse brewery. Part of a number of small outlets called ’Harvest Market’ - others sell hot and cold food.
Typical airport courtyard style shared seating with other outlets.
Big screen showing the Oldham vs Liverpool game kept me amused whilst I drank my pint.
I purchased a half pint at the whopping cost of E4.25 !!! I asked how much a pint was - E5.25 ! The girl serving was absolutely fine pouring me a full pint from fresh but be wary of this. E5.25 isn’t a bad price for Dublin and airport !
You can’t actually sit at the bar, when I say bar you queue up as if it were a canteen, get served and move on.
Nothing to get excited about but at least you can pick up craft beer at Dublin airport now! |
