A biker bar with a half decent beer selection, but nothing special to brag about. I would only recommend it if youre in the area

Decent selection given that this is just a biker bar. Pricey, old stock. Donít go out of your way to visit. Unless you happen to be out in the area, which is hard not to know since they have built up the surrounding area so much.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon in March to bottle hop. As stated by others, this a basic box of a room with picnic tables, and acoustic guitarist plucking away and a TON of cigarette smoke. I have not been in a bar that allows smoking in awhile, and it really was overwhleming. My plan was to buy some bottles, and enjoy a draft - but I skipped the draft. In terms of selection, this place has quite a bit - organization could be a bit better, but if you have the time to look you should be able to find something interesting. The Saint Arnold Elissa I bought here was pretty old, but the other beers seemed ok. The prices here were high for my perspective (all over $3 each a single) though I have no idea if this is normal for TX or not. Really no service to speak of, though I did not seek any out. Really odd place, but it has a bunch of character.

A surprisingly large selection of beer for a biker bar. Basic Texas ice house ambiance. Awesome!

This is quite an interesting place, almost like a biker bar out west that you would see in movies. My major concern with this place is the disrespect to all the craft beer bottles in there. When I went the bottles that they sell were thrown all over the shelf & it was a mess. They had all kinds of good craft beers just scattered all over the shelf some lying down, six packs thrown there like there was a fight that messed up that section years ago & no one bothered to clean it up. When you think of the kind of people that go there & see the 200+ bottles of craft brew there that Iím sure most of there patrons donít drink(Almost all BMC drinkers here, which Iím sure some drink the crafts) you start to wonder how long those beers were there. Well I bought some & they were almost all bad. That being said it is an interesting place & if I went I would definitely drink from the 50+ taps.

You gotta love beer to come here. Ultra basic, but has the best beer selection Iíve seen in San Antonio. Better prices than other places too. Picnic tables on the inside, and virtually no ambiance to speak of (I think they want it that way!) Service is serve-yourself at the bar, but theyíre quick and respectful. This is no pub, or high-faluting beer emporium... a basic Texas ice-house with air-conditioning and a great selection of beers.

Great place to hang out. 54 taps and lots of bottles. Covered patio. Rows of picnic tables inside. Parking lot full of bikes on Wednesday evenings. Bring your own mug or buy one of theirs then leave it on a numbered hook behind the bar. I used to go here when it was more ice house than bar.
