Just across the street from our hotel, Upstalsboom. They did not have their Pils on tap when I was in on my way back from a good night out in Kreuzberg. Rather small place that fills up fast, a fact that made me turn in the door the first time I had a look. Seems friendly with a good atmosphere. (Visited 13.10.2012)

Nice selection of german brews, mostly in bottles, but also a few on tap. Tried some different pils and all where good and in good condition. The hausmarke pils is good enough. Service was nice, but a bit stressful. Definitely worth a visit after a few pints at Hops and Barley or for dinner (did not try the food, but it looked nice...

Really small and cosy pub. The house beer is a pretty good pilsener, and the bottle selection is varied and large for a German place.

Friendly neighbourhood pub with a fine selection of bottled beers, some from obscure breweries. Basic food, pasta and sandwiches. The pavement tables are pleasant in warm weather. A nice stop on a Friedricschain crawl.
