Nestled in an industrial complex located at the end of 6th Street in Austin, Hops &Grain is alive and serving great beer. It’s somewhat confusing when you drive up because there is no signage out front to let you know your at the right place. Once inside you find yourself strolling through a complex containing a tech company, a metal as well as a glass and dance studio. The beer is served in the Green Room which has a window large for viewing the brewery. They could use more seating, because it gets crowed as the afternoon progresses. The best thing is, of course the beer and the staff’s willingness to talk a out the product of their labor. I want to go back.

Better check the hiours before heading there as it is rather limited. That said, easier than some to visit. Not the biggest selection, but more and more it seems thny are adding more impressive beers and I really look forward to seeing what is to come from these fine fiolks. Pretty small tasing room, but cozy and inspires good conversations if you are up for that.

Nice craft brewery. Knowledgeable, friendly staff, willing to answer questions from all the tasters Good selection of brews available, they had 7 when we were there. Quality of the beers was great, and my wife loved the wheat brew. I enjoyed the NZ IPA most. We didn’t do the tour, just enjoyed the tasting room. Get there early, as it tends to fill up later in the day.

This was a pretty nice new brewery in Austin. They had a nice little tap room, and gave out samples. The guys behind the counter were semi interested in conversing. I think i was into it more than them.
