68 Great place, when considering the size of the village of Vik (about 300 inhabitants). Located in the dining area of Hotel Puffin. Honestly, the best beer place we encountered on the south coast of Iceland. And, admittedly, with better opening hours (read: days), though they still close early when there are no customers. About 15 icelandic bottled beers, and maybe a few Danish ones. Gæðingur, Einstök and Ölvisholt (the only place I encountered that still stocked Lava) and obviously some standard lagers. Only bottles though. Not worth a detour, but when travelling the south coast of the island, I’d say it’s your best bet for a nice beer. |
