I’m really surprised that I had to add this place and the fact that i’m the first person to rate it. It’s a great little "brown bar" in the centre of the Hague, packed full of character and frequented by a good crowd. They have a good selection of taps and frequently bring in a number of guests, including locally brewed beers. Their bottle selection of mainly Belgian and Dutch beers is really great. The service is exceptional here. These people know how to pour a beer and look after their customers! There’s no food at the Huppel though, except the usual salami/cheese offerings found in most Dutch bars. It’s well worth a visit for any traveller to Den Haag.
