52 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 11/20 egajdzis (43) Spring Mount, Pennsylvania | April 25, 2013 The food is on par with all other IH locations. Beer is pretty good, selection on seasonals is smaller than all other Iron Hill locations. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 BiddleBrau (76) Fort Washington, Pennsylvania | November 26, 2012 Been to 2 IH restaurants and so far both follow the same mold. Have a good number of fresh beer on tap, good selection but being a brew-pub it is limited. They do rotate around which is good. Food is very good and a good reason to stop by as well. Nice decor and staff has always been good. Because it’s a larger space, I give it ’average’ for ambiance. Not my favorite type of beer place but a good brew pub for sure. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 13/20 BVery (323) Burnsville, Minnesota | June 3, 2012 Stopped in on June 3, 2012. 13 taps, free tasters. Didn’t eat. Great service. Sports on TV. | 86 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 19/20 robiannelli (12) West Deptford, New Jersey | January 13, 2012 This is the second Iron Hill I’ve eaten at, once again, amazing. The food is incredible and the dishes are presented very well. The menu is well rounded from hot wings to Lamb Meatballs there is enough variety for anyone to enjoy. Which goes the same for there home brewed beer. The standard Iron hill beers are excellent and anytime you go there is a wide array of seasonal brews, with everything from hand pump taps to nitro-taps. Iron hill is the best brew-pub i have ever ate at | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 BeerBellyZ (10) Pennsylvania | December 14, 2011 Went the night they tapped the "Doctoberfest" beer, which was excellent. The brewmaster is a great guy. He was making the rounds stopping and chatting with folks all night. Nice beer selection with plenty of variety. Food was so-so. Ordered sweet potato fries and they were a little undercooked but I washed it down with some good beer. | 96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 krisagon (4) | August 28, 2011 I’ve been a mug club member here for 5 years, and have been a regular customer for longer. There is absolutely no match for fresh beer brewed on premises!
Iron Hill also attracts a really positive, nice crowd of people, I’ve never had a negative interaction there ever. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 DiarmaidBHK (523) Pennsylvania | April 12, 2011| Updated June 3, 2012 There’s definitely an iron hill template with the waxed abd polished wood and the angular brushed metal. I love the square bar and the fact you can see the brewery from the bar. Iron Hill seems to be fairly autonomous in terms of what they make. I thought the Belgian Pale Ale wad good. The chocolate cherry stout was great and the ramrod is one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Of course beer of this quality does not come cheap. I also thought my pizza was very solid although next time I’ll go with the barley crust. I’ll definitely be back. | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20 Steeeve (36) Ambler, Pennsylvania | December 23, 2010| Updated June 11, 2012 Atmosphere is kinda snobby. Service was pretty good. Bartender was friendly enough and attentive on a crowded Friday night. Selection is decent. Seasonals are pretty good, but the regulars are as boring as they are mediocre. Draft prices are a little above average I think, but the bottle prices are exorbitant. Food is fairly good, nothing out of this world. Not really one of my favorite spots. I’ll go there if I have to, but there are so many other places around with better atmospheres and selections. As far as Iron Hills go this is by far the worst one I’ve been to. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 oOJUXEOo (14) Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania | March 22, 2010| Updated June 11, 2012 This is a nice brewpub. Interior is nicely done, square bar, plenty of surrounding tables. Brew kettles and fermentation tanks behind glass. House beers are of a wide range, and are fairly mild. They offer a beer sampler of their house beers. There is also a bourbon barrel aged listing of beer available. Food was good, not great. They also have kids food selections. The Ironbound Ale was a good sessionable beer for dinner. | 78 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 alobar (46) Lansdale, Pennsylvania | February 14, 2010| Updated June 11, 2012 I like this place despite the strip mall location. Food is good and reasonable. Service tends to be quick and more than adequate. Beer prices are comparable to other microbrews. |
