Ambience is alright because there’s a patio and it’s Panama. Just the same, nobody was there at 5 p.m. when I stopped in. The bartender gave free samples of everything, which is good, but the taps haven’t been properly cleaned and all the beers I had tasted smoked. There were only two taps working as well - the guy said the others were broken. Not really worth a stop unless you’re in the city for a while or just want to beef up your Panama ratings. At least it’s pretty close to one of the Rana Dorada locations - about a 10 minute walk.

Visited in early 2011. Laid-back vibe with random beer paraphernalia, pool table, big glowing "Cerveza Artesanal" over the front door, and fermenters on display behind the bar. Pizzas looked good, but I didn’t try them. Beer served in nice large imperial pints, or maybe they were half-liters. Surely worth a visit for any beer geek in town.
