Interesting big place, good way to re-use a church building. Bright and shining colors, good decor. Beers are perfect, although not cheap. However waitress pointed me to nearby shop to get beer at retaill prices. Thanks. Let the Jopen tasting begin.

Very spacious brewpub, brewing installation is still working and in plain sight of the visitors. Very nice, long bar with lots of different taps. Too bad that one third of them was empty. It’s a shame to see that the bartenders didn’t knew their beers and even told me to stop asking about it.. wow.. Overall a great pub, love to go there again..

Nice brewpub right in the centre of Haarlem. Very good beers and amazing mood. A must to go.

This modern brewpub in the beautiful city of Haarlem has lots of great beers on draught, most of them brewed in the building itself. They serve guest beers too, and some of their own beers are still brewed elsewhere, I was told. This "Jopenkerk" is a former church, which makes it special enough to look around for, well, a few hours - drinking on the bar, of course. This is the most beautiful brewpub I have ever seen. Too expensive, unfortunately. You can drink their beer cheaper in the other pubs in town. The food is not always good.

OK ish brewpub, let down as far as I’m concerned by the fact I only really like the stout from their range. Busy, but modern and not really my preference of a drinking locale.

Big place with a beautiful brewing installation in the middle. Looks awesome. We sat upstairs. Good that you can buy beers by the glass, poured from a large bottle, but they are quite expensive. Large tap selection downstairs. I had a rare entrecote which was neither rare not an entrecote, but still tasty. Food isn’t cheap either. The service was fast and our girl was knowledgeable; a big plus. Very nice that they build this and a real quality showcase for craft beer.

An amazing brewpub, converted from an old church into a large modernized two floor area that manages to fit in with the building it was and still feel just right. A good selection of Jopen’s beers are available and the food in the upstairs restaurant area is good.
