Dirtying grungy pub with a beer selection of pretty established beer. Yes there is a lot but nothing much out of the ordinary. I found it too loud and busy to get proper service, I wouldn’t really go back

In the centre of Utrecht, this place is a bit bigger than most local pubs. An alternative mixture of guest and some special dishes available during dinertime. The beerlist is long, but most easy to get Belgians.Their "house-beer" Kamikaze was a good one.

Often very busy. Not a big outside area so often also very hot inside. A lot of choice of beers, mostly belgium beers. The price is not that high!.

Belgie’s a popular bar located right along the main tourist canal in Utrecht. The place is quite narrow, so you always feel a bit crowded and hassled. The service was fine, professional. The selection was large but generally uninteresting. Unsuprisingly, the bar features mostly Belgian beers. The bottle list is large and filled with the usual suspects. The value was decent. Overall, this isn’t a bad spot to try some of the standard Belgians that you may have previously overlooked.

An alright spot. Pretty large selection of beers on either draft or in bottle, though nothing available was particularly exciting. There were some interesting beers that were new to me, though, which was nice. Prices are decent. The place itself may or may not be small, but it certainly feels tight in the evenings when space becomes precious. It also gets quite hot and steamy in here, just so you know. I guess this is one of the best options in Utrecht and it is worth checking out.

Nice place with a good selection of especially dutch beers. Service was excellent (especially on of the guys). Had a good time. Definately recommendable.

Amazing how a place you can think of as great can go down in your opinion. Not a bad place by any means, but the range, although fairly large, isn’t very exciting really. Worth visiting if nearby to try the housebeer (Kamikaze).

Visited August 15th-16th right as they opened at 13h.
Pub with a nice atmosphere that gathers a more local crowd sipping on coffee or drinking Jever out of the bottle. I guess one could see it as a positive change from the overly touristy Oudegracht street.
Place quickly fills up with locals, friendly bartender who handed out samples, recommended beers. Atmosphere has more of an old school mom and pop bar with a Belgian theme.
Had the a four sample tray plus some other drafts.
Beer selection, I was expecting a lot more Dutch brews. Maybe the name of pub but most places in Utrecht seemed a lot more keen on Belgian beers rather than local beers.
Food was ok, focused around bio-vegeterian dishes, I had the goat cheese-cream-dry raisins bread.
As the evening progresses, the place quickly fills up and gets rather loud with younger crowd. Extensive bottle list which in the most part is available for cheaper at Bert’s Bierhuis down the street.
An ok place that shines by its service or nice atmosphere. Beer wise, I was not too impressed.

Great beer bar. We went early on a Monday and it was super-chill, except for the smokers near the entrance I like that they stock more than just belgians as well, like wiehenstephaner, brewdog, and flying dog. The staff was helpful and friendly and ran us a tab. Cool place!
