Nice shop in a trendy location. Beer area is a bit cramped, but it is close to the register which means you do get help and service which generally lacks in a shop with a walk in cooler. Selection was pretty decent, and staff were knowledgeable. I would go back.

Kensington Wine Market is located about 15-20 minute walk from central downtown area. It’s a relatively small shop, but well stocked with wine, beer and spirits. The beer selection is well chosen and international. Good Belgian, Danish, American and Canada selection. The beer is located in 2 coolers, 2 stacks of shelves and on some of the floor space. Nice to see ratebeer labels! I found the staff very friendly and more than happy to help and offer suggestions. A must if you are looking for a beer shop in central Calgary.

Loaded up on beer here before heading to the mountains. A bit of a cramped space, but looked like they’re making the best of it. Had a fairly broad selection, which is nice to see, although a bit more cooler space (or just more space in general) would be good. Friendly and knowlegable staff too.

Kensington Wine Market has always been a standard on Kensigton rd when looking for wines/premier alcohol.
Can get a little overwhelming at times, but their scotch tastings and informative staff are a highlight.

Great selection and seems to be growing / changing weekly. Very knowledgeable staff. Only downside is the beer cooler is a bit small. They post their new beer arrivals on twitter @KensingtonWM , which I like!

Missing some of my favorite beers but reasonable pricing makes up for it sometimes.

I count Kensington Wine Market in the big four of beer vendors (zyn, CSN and Willow Park south being the others), and while their selection isn’t as good and the layout of the beer section is super-cramped, their prices are good. And the staff here are fantastic.

The prices were very high and the selection was OK but not as good as Willow park and Zyn
