This rating is for the bar. First time we tried to find this place we didn’t even notice there was a bar, but the shop is so cramped we were afraid to knock something over and so we left without an in-depth inspection of the shelves, but it looked like they were carrying more or less the same stuff as all the other craft beer places in Tallinn. The second time we didn’t bother with the shop and went straight to the bar. And that was totally worth it - while the bar is also rather small and has place for around 15 people at max, it is unbelieveably cosy, the open fireplace adds wonderfully to the atmosphere and all that is topped off by very friendly service. The music also was fitting for my taste - some slightly bluesy Estonian rock and later Tom Waits, so that’s also a plus. Highly recommended.

This is two places, which should be rated separately as they are legally separate. The beer shop is indeed cramped and because it stocks hard-to-source stuff is relatively expensive for the Baltic States but dirt cheap for Finland & Sweden. The bar is a little gem, with scattered couches and stools, an open fire and lots of cool. this is the rating for the bar. The bottle shop is also a way high rating.

Superb range of beer advised upon by knowledgeable landlord Juri. Small bar with limited room & furniture. The place to find rare beer in Tallinn.

Cramped little shop, too small for me. Lots of stuff from Europe like Amager or Emelisse for example. Expensive.

Good smal cosy bar, patio and bottle shop. Very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Koht - which is the beer store had very nice selection of Estonian microbrews but also a lot of brews all over Europe. Definitely worth a visit. Moonshine Bar - which is the bar behind the Koht beer store was small and cosy. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were very affordable. There were not much people considering it was Saturday night... only couple of drunken Finns. I’m trying to somehow rate both places at the same time.

Definitely the best place to visit in Tallinn for your craft beer needs. Very cozy atmosphere and lovely people working there. Worth a visit.

There are actually two places bottle shop and bar. This is rating for both of them. The shop has the biggest selection in Estonia (last time I checked they claimed to have at least 601 different beers and ciders). The bar side has the bottles and 6 taps, but 99% time there isn’t anything interesting on tap. Service is nice, but the prices are typical for the town center (not cheap). Overall: if you have time to visit only one bottle shop in Tallinn, then this is the place. The bar is also nice, but not really among my favorites.
