Quite nice place which was very close to our accommodation in Madrid. Couple of draught Spanish micros and the rest of the taps were also rather nice ones. It’s kind of a café/bar combination. So it has very convenient opening hours for us beer tourists. And it was very clean and bright. Would visit again. Strange detail was a revolving keg stand downstairs you can see through the glass floor.

Nuevo sitio en Madrid con cervezas artesanales. Ambiente un poco "modernete", bien para el que le guste, pero en cualquier caso agradable. La selección de cervezas es muy interesante, apuestan por buenos barriles y les animo a que sigan saciándonos a los enfermos. En botella también está bien, espero que crezca el catálogo. Lo que me parece más interesante es que es un local en el que se puede comer bien (¡y no lo típico! : chucrut, salchichas, etc, que cansan) con buena cerveza. Tal vez lo mejorable en este sentido sería que al mediodía te pudiesen asesorar mejor con las comidas. En cualquier caso por las tardes te explican bien lo de las cervezas y para picar (¡increíbles las croquetas de pringá!!) está muy bien, pero lo dicho, si para la comida del mediodía te pudiesen asesorar mejor con las cervezas o tener menús de maridajes con cervezas sería el sitio perfecto para los frikis del lúpulo. 03/24: I think that everybody should chill out about this place and try to be objective about what they serve, with cold blood if possible. Probably there are reasons for the bad comments motivated by personal stories, but in order to have a better RateBeer website I think that it’s not good to give extremely bad ratings just for being upset for personal things, or the opposite, just excellent ratings because people writing is friend of somebody. Just try to be objective and give ratings with head, this gives bad immage about the local craft beer scene. Just my two cents.

The place has changed beer management recently, really disappointed. The food is too expansive and extremely pretentious, without any connection to the beer. In someway they managed to delete my previous rating, i’m speechless, i hope it will not happen again, since ratebeer is not aware of this cancelation.

Ambiente de restaurante con una muy buena selección de grifo en botella no esta mal. Comida buena y barata. Atención impecable

I visited Madrid this week and was very happy to stumble across La Tape for a late night mea. They have 7 taps and an okay selection of bottles. I sampled a few Spanish beers and a nice Norwegian beer. It is very tastefully decorated and the food is very good. The service was also very informed and pleasant. It was just a very nice experience. The only downside is that 2/3 of the beers are quite well-known and easy to find. That said, the Spanish ones were new to me and quite good.

We had a very nice experience some weeks ago at this "brooklynite" café, food and beer bar in Madrid and we came back to La Tape yesterday and we fortunately found same management,same wonderful tapas,same friendly staff and of course same nice craft beer selection! Aurora,a longtime activist in the young craft beer spanish scene,is the new and knowledgeable bartender/beermaster and was really competent and accommodating with us.The four tap beer tasting selection at 10 € is worth the money!

Un local fusión cafetería-restaurante-cervecería. Me gusta la idea. 7 grifos rotatorios, uno de ellos Hand Pump. Todas las cervezas son de micros, tanto españolas como europeas. Excelente ambiente, con una música de fondo muy apropiada. Muy buen trato personal. Local recomendable.
