70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 BeerandBlues2 (457) Hanover, Maryland | January 28, 2013 The bar area was a bit dark but there were at least 15 beers on tap, some solid, others palatable. The food was fine, but not spectacular. Our server was mostly attentive. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 13/20 sonnycheeba (61) Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland | January 28, 2013 Nice brewpub in an old building giving it a stylish warehouse vibe. Huge number of house beers on tap and the sampler tray offered up 12+ beers to try. Definitely enough beer to split with someone else. Not really any great beers, but none were completely offensive either. Food was standard brewpub fare, but was good. Decent service at the bar. | 74 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 radio_nowhere (30) Maryland | December 1, 2012| Updated March 3, 2013 Went here for dinner after the Troegs visit, make the most out of our central PA visit. Old brick building converted into a brewpub, very cool. Service was good, somewhat limited menu but my LBC burger was good. Beer choices were plentiful. Left with a 6-pack of Winter Warmer. Would swing by here again if in the area. | 80 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 Voodoo (8) Pennsylvania | September 25, 2012| Updated March 3, 2013 The building is a big old brick warehouse kind of place that begs to be a lot of things, and one is a brewpub. The service was very good, the menu wasn’t huge but very adequate and the brew selection was a bit larger than most brewpubs. Altogether a very enjoyable experience. | 76 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 sharkbcr (5) Illinois | August 24, 2012| Updated March 3, 2013 Loved the building! located in a historic brewery building ... very authentic! The beers are great and the food is good too! The staff was courteous and helpful with recommendations with menu items. Will go back again | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 alobar (46) Lansdale, Pennsylvania | July 13, 2012| Updated March 3, 2013 Average looking place and much smaller ont he inside than anticipated. Service was very good with a quality menu and excellent food at a decent price. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 19/20 maltiness (7) Harrisburg, Pennsylvania | December 8, 2011| Updated March 3, 2013 Love visiting Lancaster Brewing Company every time I travel to the outlets. Good food. Busy place though and quite noisy. | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 DiarmaidBHK (523) Pennsylvania | July 10, 2011| Updated March 3, 2013 Located in what looks like an old warehouse that they installed a micro-brewery in and then took the rest of it and made it into a restaurant. When the bar area gets loud, it gets very loud indeed. They had 9-10 things on tap and they mix together the Strawberry wheat and the Lancaster Milk stout and call it a Chocolate covered strawberry, Word to the wise, if you order a sampler they will give you 12 6oz. beers so pace yourself, i.e. an entire Phillies game, or bring a DD. Also it costs $18 which means its dinner as well. Most of the beers were solid. I can’t recall any that utterly sucked. I though the Hop Hog and the Hefe were at the head of the class. As for ambiance it definitely has a neighborhood bar kind of vibe to it although if I saw one more hefe being served with an orange, I was going to scream very, very loudly. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 fata2683 (131) Tucson, Arizona | June 17, 2011| Updated March 3, 2013 came here and had the sampler which I thought was well done and very cheap. Neat brick building and atmosphere with a great staff running the place. Really hard to find anything bad here. |
