Good beer cafe with a pretty decent range on the menu, definitely better than the norm. Food does a job, lityle more. Service nice enough. Sad that it was almost completely empty the evening I visited, felt a bit weird and the room was a bit sterile.
I have been here many times, but never rated the place. Good luck finding it if you are coming from Central Station. There is a very nice bar in the back with a dozen or so stools and a restaurant in the front. There are only 4 taps at the bar, but a ton of bottles. Nice selection of lambics and usually a couple rare beers. A lo of small Belgian breweries are represented here.
Fairly big beer bar, also serving food. Good tap selection with some modern craft brews from Belgian brewers. Nice. Bottle list is nice too, with lots to choose from even though most is quite well known. Professional, quick service. Well thought out interior, little cheese but clean. Pretty quiet actually when I was there (Tuesday afternoon). Probably find a few ticks here. Nice bar, prices are okay. Nothing special for Brussels though, if not for the good tap list.
Visited here in June 2015. I was actually pretty underwhelmed with our visit. The interior felt sterile and outdated, almost like a school cafeteria. The Clown dolls complement the theme, which feels a bit clichť in my opinion. Their bottled beer list is pretty big, but we had problems finding anything that we hadnít tried before and the vintage list seems to be really dwindling these days. There were some old lambic on that list but for quite a high price. The server was efficient and nice enough, but kind of coddled us a bit as we looked a bit young. Prices were decent. Iíll not be coming back unless Iím very closeby. I guess this was a great place once, but nowadays it has been surpassed by many.
Nice enough service, good prices. Some not too common stuff on tap. Didnít check the bottles, didnít try the food. A nice enough place for a visit or a drink. A separate cafť/eating-section from the small bar area.
more cuisine a la biere here alongside a well illustrated beer list including some cellared rarities. Musells cooked in guewuze were excellent though on the pricey side and definietly had more shells than mussels. Interior a little unsual, bright and cheery but with basic formica tables, more cafe than restaurant. five beers on draught, mostly newish.
