66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20 defresh (12) , Japan | March 10, 2013 The ambiance is definitely the best part so far, but it still feels a bit too stiff. The service seemed a bit forced or nervous as well. I was also a little bit unenthusiastic about the menu - there isn’t anything that stood out to me. Finally, I was bummed out on the table charge. Definitely has potential though | 88 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 inshore (7) Ashiya city, Japan | February 23, 2013 This beer pub really have more than 30 taps, however the owner doesn’t like beers of kegs become aged
Thus the owner, Azusa stay to keep only 14 taps.
We don’t like the race of amount of taps at beer pubs, this race should become inconvenience for the customers.
| 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Yuji0202 (1) , Japan | February 1, 2013 A beautiful store, the kind staff.
This beer pub will become a future better store. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 KansaiBeerLvrs (42) Kyoto, Japan | January 18, 2013 Apparently, Lezzet means delicious in Turkish. It is located close to Tennoji station in Southern Osaka. I have heard they have the best tap set up in Kansai as they have two sections so they can keep their beers at the correct temperatures, colder for lagers and warmer for ales.
The selection was a nice mix of Japanese with a few American Craft beers as well. The service was polite, friendly and well informed. The space is nice clean and modern, there is a 2nd floor loft with a few tables but take off your shoes at the foot of the stairs ^_- I learned the hard way.
They have a great menu with color, ABV, type, name and brewery-fantastic. The clearest easy to understand menu I have seen in Japan. I liked that they have a 1000 yen tasting set allowing you to try 3 beers (100ml). The 300 yen table charge was not so great but came with some decent snacks. A good addition to the Osaka scene bringing good beer to south Osaka. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 15/20 maekchu (31) Hirakata, Japan | December 29, 2012 Stopped by in early evening. Nicely designed place: clean, well-lighted, fairly quiet, with 80s music low on the sound system. The staff were pleasant, but maybe a bit too polite and apprehensive in their service. Seemed to know their beer well. 14 taps, all Japanese micros. Also have a small whiskey selection and cocktails. Very interesting and tastefully created tsumami dishes. Menu includes items that are more upscale than at many pubs: pumpkin terrine, fish carpaccio, and spicy beer curry. The set meals (w/ drink) looked tasty and reasonable. Drink prices were a bit higher than normal. Two tables and bar space for 12, also two tables in the small upstairs area. A few blocks from Abeno Station. Take a map. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20 KyotoLefty (350) Kyoto, Japan | December 29, 2012 Went in less than a month after they opened. 14 taps of Japanese craft were going, but they have twice as many lines, and are waiting till business necessitates them. Very nice place newly done up with lots of wood. We only had a small snack that came with our table charge, but it seems that they are aiming for a gastropub feel. Lunchtime sets include 3 appetizers and a beer. I like that. Selection of beers was still a bit tilted toward a few breweries, but they are contacting more as they go along. Prices were a bit higher than average. Has a lot of potential, probably more as a slightly up-scale gastropub/cafe than a local boozer. |
