Great selection. Great service. Little bit crammed into a small space

Considerably larger selection than I expected with lots of good, if not rare beer. Solid scotch selection, and friendly staff. It is not quite a destination shop, yet, but worth a look. I will be back.

Great place to find some great beers. They are one of the few liquor stores that carry Weyerbacher in my area and dont price gouge that or other beers. They use Facebook to allow unique and rare beers to be held which is a nice touch. They always seem friendly and helpful!

Located in a strip mall just off excelsior. Decent looking place and I liked the walk in beer cooler in the back. Selection was great and excited to see the Steel Toe in the cooler. One of only 3 stores to carry it. They had some price markdowns on other good stuff as well. There was a build your own 6 pack for $10, but if you wanted to buy individual bottles, they were $3 each...kinda messed up. The employees were awesome and chatted with me for a while on beer. Really like this store and will be back, just wish it was a little closer to home.

Had no idea this place even existed. Always thought the only Liquor Barrel was the one in Golden Valley. Discovered it when I saw it on a list on MNBeer.com of the liquor stores that were going to be carrying the first release of Bells Hopslam in bottles today. Really nice selection, especially of American bombers. Large cooler with lots of good stuff in 6 packs. Prices weren’t anything special; the Hopslam was offered at the higher end of the scale among those I had heard about with no case discount. Still, with it’s proximity to Four Firkins, worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Pretty nice store. Stopped in to grab some Steel Toe brewing which isn’t distributed at a whole lot of places. Was greeted as I walked in. Decent selection of 22oz and 750ml. Not a big selection of belgian beers if that is your thing. Big cooler full of 6 packs and single bottles. I would for sure go back.

Decent place and selection. Occasionally a nice find or two. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Bought a Brooklyn Sorachi Ace, which the clerk hadn’t tried and asked me to stop in and let him know how it was, which I always like. Also let me know of their Tuesday beer sampling. Can’t beat that service.
