This place is massive, but the beer selection is really just one half aisle of micros, and a half aisle of macros. Prices were decent enough, but I didn’t find anything special here. Much better choices at Keg across the river.

Typical Liquor Barn with better selection. A guy stocking asked if I needed help, so that was a plus. Big selection of brews and most were available in singles. Beer is last two rows on the left. When I go back to Louisville I will drop by here.

A little out of the way if you’re visiting, but not too far from downtown Louisville (less than 15 minutes). Very solid selection of domestic craft stuff and decent import selection. Growler fill station is worth the drive - getting a Green Flash growler in KY is pretty sweet.

This location is large and houses a huge selection of of different liquors. You will almost always find the one thing you are looking for. I am most in for wine when I shop there, and the prices are sometimes a dollar or two less than other stores and they offer specials all the time on varying brands etc.

You can always count on getting your staple beers and liquors here. Most of the time there is a great selection of beers...craft and imports. Occasionally you will be able to score some hard to find beers (e.g., 120-minute IPA by Dogfish Head, etc.). If you go shortly after they receive their deliveries you have a better chance at getting what you want. The workers are usually knowledgeable about the beers too.

Been here twice now on my way back from the heartland and each time managed to score a couple boxes of sweet stuff. Nice to see stuff from Upland, Three Floyds, and Bluegrass here along with New Albanian and other regionals. Certainly the national stuff is well represented, with Stone, Founders, Bells, Southern Tier, et. al. Service was really helpful too. What’s especially nice about the LB locations is their growler station option. Picked up a couple cheapies from Sheltowee (and I mean cheap, like 6 bucks for the Java Dawg). And with this joint right alongside I-64, it’d be foolish not to stop if you’re passing through.

The biggest selection in the city.

Big store lots of liquor, good selection of beer. Pretty much what we can get in the Detroit area, prices are competitve maybe a touch higher. Bluegrass Brewing (BBC) and Brownings are two good locals you can get here.

Nothing extraordinary.

These are BIG stores with a lot of options when it comes to beer and liquor. Louisville and Lexington, KY locations. If you can’t find it here, it might not exist. The down side is I think the prices are a bit high and not consistent from store to store.
