68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 15/20 Caytinator (62) Tucson, Arizona | April 21, 2013 Went here on a Saturday night - this place gets busy! Nice atmosphere, it’s seems like a pretty new modern building. Sat at the bar, was pleased with the quick and friendly service. The food was good (all we had were the irish eggrolls). My wife’s bloody mary was spectacular, by the way. Their beer menu is almost an afterthought, and they have 6 or 7 of their beers on tap plus a premium one (usually some kind of imperial). The value was OK, but at least they serve half pints. I can’t believe they charge 75 cents for a taster, though. All in all, we had a good time and plan on returning in the future... | 78 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 17/20 phaleslu (314) Cincinnati, Ohio | November 21, 2012 Stopped in here on the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving and sat at the bar. Big space with a few rooms and good sized patio; used to be an actual lumberyard. Bright, clean, cool. 8-10 house taps and 2 guests. Seemed like at least 2 were special and a couple more seasonal. Good beers overall. Didn’t eat. Bartender was busy but cool and friendly. Prices were fair; to-go prices were good. Also had cans of IPA and Red and a few other bombers. Overall, really good place and worth a visit if you’re in the area. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Jow (92) New York | September 17, 2012 Stopped by here exhausted after hiking Humphrey’s Peak on like no sleep but couldn’t resist the chance to hang on patio look up at mountain i just climbed while drinking beer and eating wings. The food was ok and the sampler was well priced and some beer quite decent. nice time indeed on beautiful sunny September day | 68 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 nbutler11 (301) Phoenix, Arizona | September 5, 2012 Huge location. Very jealous of the space, but upset that they seem to have turned it into an Applebee’s. Half-hearted food, but the beer is very respectable. Had a good barley wine on tap when I was there, and the selection was large. A decent start-up that clearly has it’s eyes on regional production, but in need of soul. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 saxo (111) Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark | July 21, 2012 Nice busy place with good outside seating with great view to the railroad where you can count the impressive amount of wagons on the 4-5 enginefreight trains. I counted 121 as the biggest. But back to the beer and food. I had 6 samples for $4.50, and the food was good. They had an extensive menu, so you dont have to settle for burgers or pizas. | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 jvdijk99 (26) , Netherlands | May 9, 2012 Large brewpub, with A lot of college students. I had a the triple and a taster of the imperial red and the barley wine. The first and th last I really liked.
The service was just very bad. Our buffalo wings ended up as our desert. The server kept forgetting about us and gave us a lot of stupid excuses. But the food and the beer weren’t bad, so maybe we just had bad luck with ur server. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 BOLTZ7555 (58) Phoenix, Arizona | March 23, 2012 Hard to beat views of the old railway and San Francisco Peaks! Sat outside. Crisp mountain air and a cold brew in hand. Had a couple of beers that they don’t bottle which was nice. Probably should have chosen something else on the menu...average at best. Loved the location. Upscale. Would visit again when in town. | 70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 13/20 badlizard (130) Berkeley , California | January 18, 2012 Not a bad spot. Nice old looking brick building with a long bar space. Decent beer and decent food. Service was better than average. Worth a stop. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 dcschiller (45) Scottsdale, Arizona | December 30, 2011 Cool old building that was refurbished to fit the newest brewery in the ’beaver street’ empire. I didn’t eat, but the menu looks very tasty. They have a couple of rotating taps. This time it was Big Sky IPA, PBR, and a cider. They had 9 of their own beers on tap. I got there on a late afternoon during happy hour and two different people checked in on me so serive was great IMO. A place to visit for sure | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 17/20 daknole (300) Scottsdale, Arizona | October 15, 2011 Cool place. Lots of brews. Big menu and the service was really good. |
