Located in a cozy feeling downtown area. I found parking to be a bit of a challenge as their lot is small, and the street isn’t really designed for street parking. Big, open space with a long wooden bar. The decor is eclectic and looks haphazard. Bartender was very helpful and friendly. Simple menu with bar food, but I did not eat. Decent prices on beer and food. The travesty that was the marzen aside, the beer is fairly solid. They tend to be a bit off balance, but they show potential. I can’t really see going here too often, but it looks like Corcoran is only about 4 miles away, so it might be worth it from time to time.

Stopped by Loudoun County’s newest brewery to try things out. As a local it’s kind of odd going in there because it used to be a funeral home, but you wouldn’t know it looking at the place. Tasteful if sparse decor with a limited menu of sandwiches and snacks at this time. The place was pretty empty but the staff behind the bar were very friendly. The beers were classic examples of the their respective styles and while not overly ambitious, they didn’t have any major flaws. Prices were average for the northern Virginia areas. I’m looking forward to see how this place comes along.
