Have been there quite early on a rainy day because we wanted to go the brewery shop and tour. Nice staff, cozy atmosphere, clean interior. Wide selection of the Fullers range with average prices. The pub was okay but not worth a second visit because there are better pubs nearer to the city.

Most recent visit on Weds 14th November at 4.15pm. The Mawsons is the Fullers Brewery tap and is joined onto the complex at the front of the site just off the A4. The pub also carries a ’Fox and Hounds’ sign - this is the same place. Limited opening hours to match brewery tours and shift work at the brewery. Have visited a number of times when popping to the brewery shop. Large single roomed pub with an L shaped bar towards the entrance. Clientele tends to be 75% brewery workers and 25% beer tourists. Never seen this place particularly busy. The cask beer is all Fuller’s as you’d imagine, 8 hand pumps and 4 taps (which have a few macro items on). Most mainstream Fuller’s beers also available in the fridge. Well worth popping in if you’re in the area for fresh as it comes Fullers at the brewery tap. Food is available.
