Good food and great selection of beer, both on tap and bottled. Be aware though, if the ABV is above 7%, you're only going to get a 10oz goblet. And, in keeping with the hippy atmosphere, the service generally sucks.

This is my first trip to a Mellow Mushroom, and I really liked it. They had a good selection of beers, including quite a few local options. The pizza was creative and extremely tasty. Service was pretty good. I wish they knew a little bit more abut their beer, but it was a pleasant experience.

As usual the rating is determined by the premises and by what’s in the area. For what it is-it’s the best beer joint north of FM 1960 save Rockwell Tavern. 30 or so taps with about 10 or so Texas taps-glad to see these guys supporting the local breweries. Food is fairly consistent. Interesting location-not exactly Main/Main in Spring. Close by the house so it’s always worth a visit.

Stopped by here for a Saint Arnold Bishop’s Barrel 1. Didn’t eat anything but the pizzas looked tasty and the place was packed, so I’m sure it ain’t half bad. Tap selection features 10 rotating specials/seasonals. Great service. As far as I can tell, this place has the best tap selection in the Spring/Woodlands area.
