Yes - I know itís often the "typical" college pizza place. But is it really typical just because itís a chain? Not for me. Iíve been to over a dozen of these and I think, so far, this oneís the best. Great selection for MMís with 40some beers on tap, most regional offerings. And Firestone Walker DBA - exceptional. Good service, unfortunately caught them on trivia night and could hardly communicate with bartenders for my 1st half hour there. Always a good outlet for vegetarian/vegan food selections, hence the high marks there. Enjoy good food and decent beer.

Good food and great selection of beer, both on tap and bottled. Be aware though, if the ABV is above 7%, you're only going to get a 10oz goblet. And, in keeping with the hippy atmosphere, the service generally sucks.

This is my first trip to a Mellow Mushroom, and I really liked it. They had a good selection of beers, including quite a few local options. The pizza was creative and extremely tasty. Service was pretty good. I wish they knew a little bit more abut their beer, but it was a pleasant experience.

As usual the rating is determined by the premises and by whatís in the area. For what it is-itís the best beer joint north of FM 1960 save Whole Foods. 30 or so taps with about 10 or so Texas taps-glad to see these guys supporting the local breweries. Food is fairly consistent. Interesting location-not exactly Main/Main in Spring. Close by the house so itís always worth a visit.

Stopped by here for a Saint Arnold Bishopís Barrel 1. Didnít eat anything but the pizzas looked tasty and the place was packed, so Iím sure it ainít half bad. Tap selection features 10 rotating specials/seasonals. Great service. As far as I can tell, this place has the best tap selection in the Spring/Woodlands area.
