Small L shaped bar with traditional wod, handful of tables downstairs. There is apparently an upstairs also that they use for firkin Thursdays, but it was closed when I stopped by. This is one of the few craft beer establishments on Federal Hill that’s open for lunch. Beer list was small but interesting, and included some local stuff I hadn’t seen elsewhere. Food was tasty and inexpensive, and service was good. Good coffee. Street parking, metered.

Very nice place. Great food with a good beer selection to go along with it. Bar is very narrow, but there are also tables upstairs. The menu is massive and may be a bit too big; however, the quality of the food was outstanding. Staff was attentive and checked on us regularly. Definitely recommended.

Metropolitan is a nice find in Baltimore’s Fed Hill neighborhood, and offers a fresh, rotating tap and cask selection. I have not eaten here yet, but that will soon be rectified as their menu and the passing plates look quite inviting. The upstairs bar is a good place to hold intimate conversations or mingle with the locals and regulars.

Dimly lit bar in Federal Hill; somewhat narrow, but there are two floors each with a bar and some tables. Staff was attentive and often checked in to see if there was anything we needed. Just 20 taps, but each is a good craft beer offering with some local options along with a few international offerings. There’s also a decent bottle/can list if nothing on tap is of interest. Food was fantastic and the menu offers an amazingly wide range options from burgers to duck pizza and wild boar sausages. Good place in a neighborhood dominated by cookie-cutter bars offering not much more than domestic macro lagers.
