Walked in and immediately thought I was in the wrong place. Deli looking front, but then the front counter dude saw that I was confused and directed me towards a freezer door. I walked thru a very Prohibition entryway to a complete 180 of a dark quant bar. The lady was impressed. Just had a delicious app and a couple beers. Beer selection was above average and I would say this place is well worth going to if in the area.

Muss & Turner’s is more deli than bar, particularly during lunch, but you can still get a respectable selection of brewskis, and they do have a small bar section for those who are interested in hops more than in hoagies. Their sandwiches are scrumptious and reasonably priced. Though they don’t have a wide variety of beers, what you can get is mostly good stuff. I recall only a couple industrial brews in their beer selection. If you are seeking more of a bar ambiance, you probably want to visit them in the evening (I was there for lunch), from what the waitstaff told me. The waiters, by the way, are very good and quite helpful. They have a good system down so you can put in your order quickly, and if they are a shade slow at bringing your brewskis, it’s just because they are so busy. Worthy of a visit. Or two.
