74 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 16/20
Visited this Brew Pub with three friends last week, while at the local Plandampf.
A bit of a walk from the Railway station, but worth it.
Very good beer and excellent food.
Much better than our poor experience of Kaiserslautern’s Brew Pub.
We will be back!

The biergarten is spacious, but without a good atmosphere, mostly because of the ugly Coca Cola umbrellas; the interior instead is interesting, recalling some Middle Ages hall. They have 3 beers, of which the Hell is decent and the other two are forgettable. They offer the minimum expected as pub food, and for me, even if I’m having a Schnitzel, this is not much more than a fast food. In other words, a nice place if you live in the village, but not really worth a detour (I preferred the beers at Göcklinger).

A nice building with a pleasant patio/garden outside, especially if you like bees! Beers bland and they proudly show off hop pellets! Service took ages all 3 times I’ve visited. Not a lot else in this town beerwise. At least 20 mins walk from the main station but only 6-7 mins from nearby Neustadt Bobig station.

Brewpub tucked away behind a Lidl grocery store. Nice big building with a smaller beer garden outside and a playground. Not a huge selection of food but nice schnitzels, steaks and some regional favorites - food was very nice. Beers were all very nice. Really a nice place in the middle of wine country.
