Visited on a Sat. night around 10pm. Great modern Munich beer hall vibe. Plenty of TVs to catch sports. Awesome selection. Great prices. $3 latenight happy hour pours include Mojo on nitro (my favorite). Slightly slow/inattentive service. Sausages are good and unique.

This place opened in late summer 2012 across the street from Surdyk’s and in a former Panera Bread space. They’ve done a very nice job of utilizing what wasn’t a huge space and making it attractive. Although it didn’t occur to me while I was there, cards04’s comment about being like a German beer hall has some merit. Long bench seating. Was there for a Goose Island tap takeover, so the selections that evening were more impressive than usual. The tap list generally skews heavily toward local brewers. The ordering set up is unique; you order your beer and food at a register and take a table number for your food. Had some of the sausages which were unique (alligator?, rattlesnake rabbit?). I left with a very favorable impression but a place that has "Wurst + Bierhaus" in it’s name should have more than 1-2 German beers on tap.

Looks like a german beer hall. On a smaller scale. Nice tap selection...the waitress got my sampler flight mixed up..but still a cool place.

I didn’t get a chance to try the food as I had just been at Kramarczuck’s nearby. Maybe next time, as the menu looked delicious. Decent selection of local microbrews and a few Germany beers fitting with the food. Nice corner views from the windows.

Call the decor modern industrial German Beer Hall with half a dozen TVs. Really solid tap and bottle list. Bells takeover while I was there, featuring several rarities I never expected to see. Prices are reasonable given the location, $5-$7 glasses. Only had the fries (excellent), but will definitely be trying one of the multitude of brats there.

Great new bar in NE Mpls. Flights available, good tap list. Great service. Love it.
