82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 BMan1113VR (305) Los Angeles, California | April 9, 2013 Fun brewery in an industrial park area near Angel’s Stadium. Small brewery, but doing some good stuff. Beers use to be pretty average before Evan joined as head brewer, but they have some pretty awesome beers now, with a good range of products. Nice tasting bars with tables, an outside are with food trucks and corn hole type games. Well priced. All around a fun place | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 womencantsail (386) Garbage Grove, California | February 2, 2013 Re-reviewing this place as my old one is no longer applicable. New brewing team that is making some much better beers! They’ve also got a lot more of them. They had 16 beers on (including one hand pump), most of which are pretty decent. The service was great, very friendly. Pretty reasonable prices, too as 15 tasters came in at just over $20, and that included their high ABV/specialty beers. Worth a stop. | 66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 t0rin0 (184) La Verne, California | December 22, 2012 Been twice, once right around opening time and once a few months later.
I was excited for this place to open since a couple years earlier I tried their IPA at Pizza Port San Clemente and I really enjoyed it. Not sure who brewed it or how it was even legally sold but I assume it was legit. Once the place finally did open I was a bit let down by the fact that a lot of their beers were buttery. But of course that can be fixed. The second time I went in it didnt improve so I havent been back again, though I heard recently that they’ve made some big changes and that the beers have gotten a lot better.
Prices are reasonable and there are always food trucks outside. Fun place to hang out (another CA brewery in an industrial park), assuming they fix the issues with the beer. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 13/20 JoeTheYounger (44) Claremont, California | December 20, 2011 Great little place to go that is walking distance to the Angel Stadium. They usually have one guest brew on tap. Last time I was there they only had 4 house brews. Selection is always limited but they just started brewing in their facility recently and I expect them to be doing great things in the future. | 62 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Blairgus (72) California | October 6, 2011 small brewery with tasting room and bar. right next to the Angels stadium so there’s lots of Angels merchandise on the walls and baseball on tv. ambiance was only okay. seemed like a brewery with a kind of sports bar feel. beer prices were decent and owner was really nice. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 Injemanze (3) Anaheim, California | February 16, 2011 It was exciting to see a microbrewery open up literally down the street from where I live.
It is basically a small brewery and adjacent tasting room located in an industrial complex near Angels Stadium.
The owner is a great guy and the tasting room has a nice comfortable vibe to it. It makes a perfect quick hangout spot for a group of friends with a few tables, plenty of beer related magazines, and a flat screen tv.
The beer selection is small but solid (the IPA is stellar). Definitely check it out if you live in North County/Central O.C. or are in the area for an Angels or Ducks game.
p.s. they do growlers! | 68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 12/20 JohnC (147) Mission Viejo, California | January 9, 2011 This is a very small place in an industrial park near Angel Stadium. The tasting room is perhaps 20’ x 20’. The man working the room was very friendly, courteous and helpful. They had five beers on tap, and it was good to try them all. If you’re in the area, stop in for a quick tasting. |
