I’ve always liked Norrebro Bryghus, not least because it seemed to be in the vanguard when exciting new Danish brewers started popping up a few years ago. I remember the days when it was difficult to find anything other than Carlsberg or Tuborg in Copenhagen and it was wonderful to find a place brewing something different, and of high quality too. The brewpub has three distinct areas – the large brewing kit is on the left as you enter, the bar is at the end of a low ceilinged room to the right and there’s an upstairs eating area. There are also tables and chairs on the narrow pavement outside. It has a nice relaxed feel and the staff are always friendly. If you’re uncertain what to choose, descriptions of the beers are posted on a pillar by the bar and I see that the current offerings are listed on the website too. We didn’t eat on our last visit although I seem to remember that the food was good when I did eat here. (Last visited 2 May 2013).

A great brewpub with an enjoyable atmosphere and reasonable prices. Not a huge fan of Nørrebro beers but they are well-made and a few are worth trying. Service was very friendly and helpful. Worth a stop when in the area.

I liked the fact that I was eating and tasting beers having opposite to me the beer fermenters of the brewpub. Very good food. There were some of their own beers available on taps and some bottles at the day I visited it. The beers were not something special but they were ok. You can take samples of beers. Friendly staff, excellent service. I will definitely go again.

Brewpub with good food and excellent beers. The service is very good.It’s a little expensive, but worthy. They have quite a large beer selection on tap, and you can also buy some bottles.

Nice brewpub with a restaurant. Standard beers on taps and two to three taps with new beers. Always possible to taste the beers before buying. The pub menu is tasty as well as the restaurant menu.

This joint is very classy. Full of guys wearing suits and the whole place looks brand new. I got weird looks going in there with a t-shirt and baseball cap. Did some samplings, kept getting weird stares so I left. 11 beers on tap.

Great brewery and great service. Ambiance is great although the acoustics in the restaurant is pretty bad. Always a nice selection beers, although some of them aren’t available for long, so there’s a chance your latest favourite will be long gone the next time you visit.

Great place to eat and generally highq quality beers. Food is pricy but worth it. Beers are fairly priced. You can get 4 decent sized samples for 60 DKR. Good view of the brewtanks from all around the pub.
