Stopped in on a rainy Monday afternoon. Parking was free on the street. The place wasn’t too busy, but it was around 2 PM, so the lunch crowd wasn’t in anymore. They had 12 beers on draft and one on cask. I ordered the large sampler, which was one of all their beers on draft and cask, so 13 total. Most were about average, but a few were pretty good. The food was pretty standard bar fare. I liked the sandwhich I ordered. The fries weren’t hot when they were brought to me, though, and I could tell they were re-heated right before they brought them out to me. C’mon guys. Overall, my experience was good enough. I liked their bathrooms and the variet of beer styles they had on draft. Don’t know if I would worry about coming back here, but if I was with somebody that really wanted to go, I’d go with them.

Great place to go anytime. Interesting decorating. Good beer. Nice outside seating area.

This place was a welcome surprise. It feels like they took an Alaskan bar and moved it lock, stock, and barrel to Western PA. The details and the woodwork inside are amazing. I loved that they took a keg and turned it into a urinal. That’s genius. They have 13 beers on tap most of them pretty solid. The service is fantastic. You really get the sense that this is a community hang out. Everyone seemed to know each other and the vibe was fantastic. This is how a neighborhood watering hole should feel. Every town deserves to have a place this cool to hang out in.

I stopped here on my way from Brewerie in Erie to the Church in Pittsburgh! The brewpub is really cool and has a neat history. Brewpubs thrive on this character. I love it. We got a table quickly and service was great. The food was good too and it was very affordable. The beers were great too. I got the 9 beer sampler and had every single brew on tap. I really enjoyed this place and will looking for an excuse to swing by Slippery Rock again!

Old house with a college grunge feeling. The tables were wood planks. Very helpful waitress, she got a better seating for us. Cinco mayo was a noisey but fun. Next table had Canadians shopping at the Outlets in Grove city. Fast food service with a helpful server.

Anytime I am in the Slippery Rock area, I make a point to stop at this place. In fact, our group will golf in the area, just to find an excuse to stop here. I never had a bad beer in this place. If I didn’t like the beer, it was because of the style, not the beer itself. Food is excellent. Well worth the stop, you won’t be disappointed.

Visted w/ hometown friend last year. Pub located in small building, was dreadfully crowded. Interesting interior. Service was good for crowd. Nice food and brew selection. Had beer flight and most certainly average to above. Would visit again if back in "the pebble."

This place is almost always crowded in the evenings - a sure sign they’re doing something right. The beers are decent, although none are particularly outstanding. They do have a broad selection, so you should be able to find something you like. The food is very tasty - fresh ingredients and diverse. The atmosphere is great. The outside "beer garden" is very nice.
