Ølbaren

Visited late evening, around 11pm on a Wednesday, 26th October 22, after meal with colleagues. The place was super chilled, quite small, and unassuming from the outside. I got chatting to the German barman, who was really helpful, 100ml pours were fine, although, he was generous with each one ! Also fine for tastes of any beer, we had a great chat, and he also started sampling and drinking, by 12.30am he was drinking more than me, I think. Great fun and great beers, with the obvious great service detailed above. Pretty much all the beer was Danish, with some less known breweries, aside from the Speedway, which we both drank as a nightcap.

A classic that I finally got to visit for an excellent quiz night run by none other than Jacob Lövenlund. 30 taps, very good bottle selection, wide, some rare stuff (a Danish beer I needed to add for example, wow). Pro, friendly service. At first glance it doesn't look like it would be a 30+ tap place, more off a local pub, but it carries its selection with class. Easy to end up spending a fair bit of time here.

Lots of wood and green painted walls in this old skool local bar. I’m sure that many tears have been shed in this place and many arguments settled over a lot of years. They have 30 taps, of Danish and O|O beers from Sweden, plus a mixture of beers from around the world. Super helpful staff. WiFi works. Getting here is really a taxi or you walk. Close to Brus. I wished this was my local!

Visit many times

Close to many other places in Nørrebro. A dozen taps, fairly well-curated list. Beers are available in two sizes, although a little pricey (above average for Denmark). Cozy place that gets busy in the evenings. Worth a look.

A small beer bar some distance from the center. Selection had some nice German lagers, and some other interesting things. Service was ok. Prices were not stupid. Overall: worth a visit when nearby.
