Not much to be said here but it is a nice place,with a nice line up of crafts,just nothing over the top.I go here with the family and at least I can have a decent brew,the best thing was when Goose Island. Released. BCS Vanilla they hosted an event with reps from the brewery and had some one offs on tap the good is decent which anybody who’s ever been to one can attest to

One of the best bars in Rockford. Great selection of crafts on draft and bottle. The servers all seem to know at lest something about the beers they are selling. Don’t go here if you are trying to drink on a budget though.

Its an Old Chicago. Spot oin with what everyone else is saying. I used to frequent Rockford quite a bit and know that this place is a local kind of hang out. The selection of good restaurants in rockford is terrible and this is ’a good place for this town.’

Came here after the Rockford Riverhawks game. The dining room was practically empty so our large party was seated immediately. Food seemed pricey for typical pub fare. Excellent bottle selection, and the draught selection wasn’t bad either. Certainly not unique, but a nice change-of-pace in Rockford.

Decent food, fun atmosphere. Went after dollar beer night at minor-league baseball. Sat in the dining room, but the bar semeed to be the place to be. Good service, decent beer selection, but not much unique.

Much different than my "local" Old Chicago in Trevose, PA. This was a lively bar with regulars and fun bartenders. Nice well rounded selection including local and regional beers. For an out-of-towner like me this was a great spot to sample regional beers and chill out.

The first Old Chicago I ever visited...it may not be the last, but I can’t say I was really impressed. Food is basically Bennigans-level greasy crap in obesity-ensuring portions, though palatable enough...beer is for the most part "world tour" -- 50 crappy lagers from 50 countries sort of thing; but on the plus side, they usually have a dozen or so regional seasonals, Bells and Capital among them. One of those places that’s worth a try in otherwise beer-desolate areas.

I have a bias towards this location. This is my place to go back home in Rockford. I have many fond memories with my friends here and thats why I love this place. They do have a pretty good selection of taps: Goose island (with a rotating seasonal GI), Sierra nevada (Celebration on tap!!!), Bells (Two Hearted, Oberon, Oatmeal Stout even once!). They used to have 750’s of NG belgian Red for $11, but no more NG in Illinois.....

Just like every other Old Chicago I’ve ever been to, right down to the same beer list. This one does have a few more local beers, though (Carlyle, Goose Island, etc). A majority of the waitstaff I’ve had doesn’t know the first thing about beer, though, outside of the Bud/Miller/Coors scene, so don’t expect a beer geek to assist you in selecting a brew. The pizza is good!
