Visited lateish on a Saturday night. It was like being in a pub in Royston Vasey. A mix of clientèle some of the murdering popular hits in a style that was good enough for the misguided fool section of the X factor. 3 beers and 3 ciders on tap. Pub holder of Camra cider pub of year for Darlo. It’s more of a club than pub. 2 rooms with pool or snooker tables in. It’s an experience for sure. Might need therapy before I return...

Located up a flight of stairs just off Victoria Road, down from Darlington Station on the way into town. Large open main room around the bar with basic decor tables, chairs, pool table. Rotated cask ale on tap at reasonable price. Also has a range of three draught ciders. Building is abit tatty but had well kept local bitter from Mithral Ales & also Camerons Strongarm on cask at time of review. Not busy during the day, handy for a quick real ale or cider near the station.
