I visited the Open Lucht museum some months ago. As a museum is really great, you can learn a lot about how the Dutch were living back then. As a brewery now, thatís another story.
I was looking forward to visit the renewed brewery, but it was nothing special after all. A guy pouring beer in plastic shot glasses to give you a taste while another guy, I guess the brewer was busy on the back cheching the beer tanks etc. They have a couple of standard beers and then the seasonals like bock on the autumn and so on. Expensive beers to buy at the brewery and at the museumís shop, mostly because theyíre coming into a stone made swing top bottle, I guess.

The openlucht museum in Arnhem includes a reconstructed brewery which now houses a modern brewhouse. They brew a small range of beers (4 or so) including seasonal specials which are available from the museum shop and also from some local retailers around Arnhem. The brewers are on hand to run you through the beers and the brewing process.
