This is a small bar (without much of a bar ironically) right on 1st across the street from Good Karma and around the corner from Gordon Biersch. Nice area full of shops, a trolley, and no parking anywhere. They have a couple dozen taps and some bottles in addition to sausages. Sounds like a good place. The selection however isnít as good as it is across the street. The service was very friendly and sent me off with a take out menu. They have some good stuff on tap like Celebration Ale, Anchor Our Special Ale, some Bruery beers, and Drakes Jolly Rodger, but I didnít see anything that would make travel across the peninsula. That said I guess these guys host some bottle shares and again, they have sausage, so Iíll probably stop back in at some point. Prices were high, as one might expect from a beer bar in a big city.

Lugar agradable, buena variedad de diferentes salchichas, algunas buenas cervezas. Un lugar agradable para tomar algunas cervezas y comer!

Really cool little joint in downtown San Jose that sported a relatively small but unique tap list. Definitely craft-inspired. There wasnít a single macro in the place. Meat counter in the ídining roomí that had an array of house prepared sausages. Had a rabbit dog with grilled onions and sriracha ketchup/wasabi mayo. Itís and the poutine were delicious. Only a handful of tables and bar. This place is new but already could benefit from an expansion. Industrial feel. Will be back!

Nice place in a good location in downtown San Jose. The industrial feel of the place left me a bit cold, but you canít knock the selection. They also offer flights of any beer on tap with healthy pours. The service was pleasant. Didnít try the food. Good place to hang out and have a couple beers. Overall this is a nice little craft pub crawl if you hit up Good Karma across the street.

A small place with some good taps. Food in house is a plus(I did not get a chance to try). They have a back patio that would be a desired place to post up. Best place downtown for craft beer lovers.

Love this place. They have a huge number of taps, always stuff that is far out or uncommon in this area. They display all their beers on a huge TV with notes, serving size and price. They have a wide range of sausages and they serve delicious fries cooked in duck fat.

Definitely a "go-to" spot for me in San Jose. The owners and workers are all extremely nice and friendly and go out of their way to help you pick a beer you will like. Iíve never run into any problems with service (both food and beer). The prices may be a little stepper than other bars in the area, but you are also paying for quality. Overall, for how new the place is, I think itís already a must go-to spot for any beer lover in the South Bay. It only gets better from here. The owner mentioned that he plans the expand the back patio to accommodate another bar to ease congestion inside on those crazy weekend nights. Looking forward to their teunure in Downtown San Jose

Finally hit this place for lunch with MrHoppy. Pretty nice taplist, including many that I have not seen on tap, or for that matter heard of, before. Seemed to have a Saison focus, at least when we were there. Pretty small, which works for a 2PM lunch, but must be a mess on a Friday night. Pretty pricey as well, with 12oz pours running $7+, and 3oz tasters for $3. I never asked to see the bottle list, but with the tap prices I would be a little afraid to. Food consists of sausages, grilled cheese, and fries; decent enough for what it is. All in all a decent experience, but not one of my favorites.

Fairly small bar that features a nice selection of beer (leaning mostly toward west coast offerings). Service was friendly and knowledgeable, but a bit distracted and inattentive... I think this will improve as these guys work out the kinks. Food options are limited to mostly sausages and grilled cheese sandwiches. That said, they offer well over a dozen different sausage varieties and the ones I had were awesome (Hot Italian and Texas Brat). Prices were a little high for the pours, but nothing too crazy. Nice place, will be back in everytime I am out in San Jose for work.

Awesome to have a place that serve upscale beer downtown. They have food which is a plus. prices are pretty high. $8 for a puny glass of Biere de LíAmitie from St. Feuillen / Green Flash. It didnít taste as good as the bottle. you can bring kids and pets. I dropped $30+ and donít feel I got my moneyís worth. $3 for my daughterís rootbeer was just wrong. $3 for a 3oz. sample well FUCK ME! I may go back again but they will have to have some amazing beer that I canít get in a bottle. Think about it would you rather go here or buy a few epic bottles of beer to share with your friends. Your bang for the buck is lacking a bit.
