56 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20 Caytinator (63) Tucson, Arizona | February 11, 2013 Sticky floor strip mall liquor store. I agree with the other poster, you can’t expect much in P-Cola, but this place has a decent selection of six-packs and bombers (no single 12-oz bottles or growlers) from around the country. A buck or two cheaper than the "Total Wine" prices I looked up online. The guys that work there don’t know sh*t about beer, so don’t expect any help. Disappointed they didn’t have any Cigar City. |
70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 15/20 Shaftie (7) , Maryland | March 22, 2012 First and foremost, Pensacola is a beer buyers hell. This place has the best selection in town. Nothing too off the beaten path but at least they carry bombers and 750’s. They have a few samplers as well. Decent selection of sixers. Really the only place to go if you’re a buyer. As for drinking off the tap you’ve got four options in the area. To give you an idea I’ll spout of brewies: CCB (just their two staples) Bluepoint, Stone, Rogue, Bells (DID have expedition) DFH, Sweetwater, Victory, Terrapin, SA, Abita, Southern Teir, Chimay. A Whole Foods or Total Wine this place is not but beggars can’t be choosers. The liquor selection is good, they even had a mead. Wine is so-so. Folks were pleasant. Place is clean. |
