34 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 3/20 mmahut (7) , Czech Republic | January 27, 2013 Bad food. Bad service. Very bad beer. Too bad, I hope they get their stuff together, as it’s not nice to see a small brewery doing so bad. :( | 62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 mithe (29) Opava & Brno, Czech Republic | January 12, 2013 Average ambiance. Terrible way of drafting beer. (Draught beers in fridge...) Good selection for small brewpub. Average prices. | 36 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 6/20 holter (1) , | September 10, 2012 Great atmosphere, a bit ’noisy, Czech beer and food of good quality at affordable prices. Of note, however, ’a drop of style. At the end of the meal I ordered a dessert and I was brought a beer, which I refused, because I thought a mistake of the table. In a place where the beer flows freely you can ’think to associate with the word dessert (which use internationally) to a low-alcohol beer, except that the word beer I’ve never spoken. Language problems? Maybe, but that has nevertheless decided to put in account the beer I was served by a mistake can not be attributed to me, I find it really unprofessional. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 15/20 1980olympics (32) , England | May 20, 2012 City centre brewpub, service was good and seemed popular with locals. Bar area where you could buy souvenirs like glasses , take-away bottles, aprons with brewery logo ect. Dark wood panelled interior that creates a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy their brews. Thought that the Weiss bier was a decent attempt and the svetly was adequate. Recommend. | 88 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 17/20 YULbier (250) Montreal, | October 10, 2011 Beers are all guinness-style carbonated with extra-creamy foam (nitrogen?). They are all pretty good but the cherry beer ("visnove pivo") is awesome! Served with actual cherries in the bottom of the glass, it tastes like cherry ice cream.
Food is classic czech food, very well executed. An english menu was not available at the moment of visiting.
There are televisions for watching foot or hockey with the locals, and, if you feel like it, you can drink your beer in a 1 liter mug ("tuplak"). Fun. |
