Now part of the Pyramid empire, this place has retained all of the original charm. The beer is all Pyramid brews and Mac’s beers. The food is decent, I highly recommend the Mac’s Pie. A great hidden location with very nice ambiance.

You would never think as you drive to this brewery that you would find this here. Sitting in the middle of an industrial area here is a great German pub. Loved the German atmosphere we had a great time here and Fridays after work this place was rocking. The brewery used to be the Portland Brewing Co. Then took over by Pyramid and they changed the name. They brew the best MacTartahans Amber ale. Special dock sales all the time and Oktoberfest was fun there also. We got to try some awesome fun new beers when they were experimenting back in the old days. The Garlic fries are some of the best ever.

Nice place, although I was hoping for a bit more from the beer selection, maybe a few beers that they don’t have in bottles or something. The food was great, service was fast. Without some beers that I can’t get in the markets I don’t see myself returning all that often though.

Place is pretty nice, inside and out. Beer is ok. Fish and chips were pretty good, but nothing spectacular. All in all, nice and clean, but mediocre on all other accounts.

Unfortunately, Portland is no longer around. It was bought out by Pryamid brewing. The beer was good. They have and 11 beer sampler. All was better then your adverage beer. The wheat aie was one of my favorites while there. The food was good and the service was great. We had a group of six and waitress had no problem in handling our rowdiness.

This place seemed to be in an odd locale, but the restaurant was pretty cool. The bartender was very knowledgeable and they had a decent selection of draughts.

Very nice patio area for those nice summer days. They mix it up a little bit from the standard brewpub fare, which is nice. The beer offerings don’t stray much from the store offerings unfortunately. Still nice though.

This place probably could be better. It is kind of hard to find since it is out in industrial NW portland. It is a nice place to have dinner, but doesn’t make me want to stay long. Food is good. The beer at Portland brewing was better in the days when your other choices were Widmer and Henry’s. Lots of other better beer and brewpubs to choose from

Took the tour here. It was a good place with a great ambiance. The facility is large and it was interesting to see the German equipment, with the controls still in German! Had a sampler after the tour.
