86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 SuddabyforSuds (3) Newport, Rhode Island | April 29, 2013 Good times always at this local pub! Not the place you go to get your hands onto the world’s most extreme specialties, but the tap AND bottle menu is fun enough. It’s the place you want to have more than one - perhaps the place for a night out of partying while not having to sip on a heineken the whole time. It’s dishes are cheap, but good. but definitely "bar food." all around a good time. sometimes a bit too packed, but hey - good for them! | 92 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 18/20 magsvmi (1) Rhode Island | February 21, 2013 Pour Judgement gets everything right. relaxed atmosphere, great staff, fantastic food at reasonable prices, ad great selection of beers that changes frequently. | 84 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 drinknewport (6) Rhode Island | February 20, 2013 A great local bar in a tourist town. Lots of craft beers on tap. | 78 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 lushawn (227) Massachusetts | November 25, 2012 clean, upbeat hole in the wall bar type place. chalkboard list of beers, on a saturday afternoon had college football on TVs, but the sound was muted, which was nice. music playing, though the music was somewhat forgettable (can’t even remember what genre), partially because it was relatively quiet. bar was crowded, but it was easy to talk, and had enough room. nothing terribly exciting on tap - some full sail, lagunitas, mayflower, cisco, newport, some other randomgarbage - but had no trouble finding something to drink. ended up having a couple pints of Weihenstephaner hefeweizen @$5 each. food was fresh, good. reasonable prices. attentive servers. pleasant, upbeat vibe. a fine bar to have a beer to be sure if you happen to find yourself in newport. | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 Travlr (999) Washington, Washington DC | August 27, 2012 I could tell I was in for a treat when they guy who handed me my food called me "home boy" and the lady tending bar asked my name and told me I could come back any time. The beer selection was very solid, on draft and in bottles. The surprise was the food - amazing! I actually stopped in for Sunday brunch at 10 AM just to wait for the breweries to open, so I didn’t have high expectations. I was blown away! This is definitely THE place to hang out in Newport, I could move in hereand be very happy. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 miqal (10) , | February 11, 2012 In a tourist town the best places to go is where the locals go. Pour Judgement is that place. Their burger and a beer deal is an awesome value in a over priced tourist town. The beers the got are awesome too. If your in Newport check out Pour Judgement on Broadway. Beware, this is a popular spot, it can get busy in there. | 78 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 auerbrau (278) Peace Dale, Rhode Island | June 16, 2011 This place is great. A solid, low-key, comfortable beer bar in the coolest part of Newport. A nice list of well-priced and thoughtfully selected regional micros. Service was solid. Didn’t eat. Will look forward to going back here. Worth a stop, in my opinion. | 84 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 17/20 Phillies08Champs (22) Phoenixville, Pennsylvania | September 19, 2009 Cool place with a great staff. Most of the Craft Beer is solid. I did not eat the food except for a piece of tuna that these nice people gave me but it was awesome. I think they are going for a gastropub type menu. Definately recomend it.
