Brand new place in Calhoun Square in Uptown in the space previously occupied by Il Gato, and Figlio before that. Really nice moderately upscale interior that has a slight hint of retro with its circular, lamp-shade ceiling lights. Has enough flat screen TVs strategically placed that you can view your game from pretty much any seat in the place, but without being in your face unless you are sitting at the bar and without the feel of a sports bar. The beer selection is huge (60 taps) with enough really good offerings (Founders Breakfast Stout, Stone IPA, Rush River Bubble Jack and Double Bubble, etc.) so that there is something outstanding for any palate and with a strong nod toward local offereings. The truly discerning beer geek may not find anything truly unique or rare, however. Beer prices are oddly not listed on the menu, and are therefore predictably at the high end. Bubble Jack and Stone IPA are $6 and Breakfast Stout is $8 for a 10 oz glass. Happy hour prices all day on Sundays so had 3 small plates, large salad and 4 drinks for just under $50. Recommended.
