Visited around 10.45pm on Weds 7/11/12. Smart wooden all round interior - well maintained. The place was not far from closing but despite being the only folks there on a slightly damp Wednesday night they served us and gave us the option of last orders for a 2nd round. Decent selection and we finally tracked down and bagged Boneyard Hop Venom. Definately worth popping in for a solid taplist - ambiance defaults to 3 as we were the only folks in.

Workingman’s pub by day. Solid food selection with an enormous bottle beer selection. Multiple taps with ales and lagers, and a good seasonal selection. They tell me this is the seed of the Portland beer culture. They also tell me that it’s lekker on summer evenings out on the patio. I’ve never been there. I do have one ccrotchet about the service. They serve ales a little too cold. You have to wait a while to get them at the proper temperature. Lagers are served at the right temperature.

Kinda neat place under the bridges on the east side. Nice beer selection with a ton of taps and a selection of bottles. Food was excellent. The place was a bit loud and very crowded, but it was friday night, so to be expected down town.

This is a great place to visit, especially during the summer. Back patio is nice and spacious. Beer selection is above normal, with plenty on tap and bottles, too. The food is really good as well. Parking can be a bit hard to work at peak lunch hours, but you’ll get over it.
