Visited on recent business trip in the area.
Ambiance: This place is located in the center of town, solid brick building with decent length bar that hold plenty of patrons, has a solid gastropub feel to it with solid beer and whisky selection
Service: Decent, bartenders were prompt and knowledgeable about the beers on tap.
Selection: Common Northern VT shelf beers...literally. It just happens that those common beers were from Hill Farmstead, Alchemist, Mystic, Lost Nation, etc. Good array of solid beers from various styles
Food: Food was pretty damn god but portions were very rough. A pulled pork sandwich was about the size of a McDonalds Cheeseburger. Donít go hungry or expect to drop some bank on the food.
Value: Beers were all roughly $7, which was slightly higher than normal but food was over priced for portions and sides were even worse.

Very good selection of beers. Not the most I have seen (maybe 15 to 20??) but all very good beers, and many very solid VT brews. Food was very tasty. Had a burger and fries, but was quite tasty. Other food looked great and others in out group loved it. Would easily go back.

When I visited: Late May 2013.
What I had: Hopfenstark Greg American Foreign Harvest Stout, Hill Farmstead What Is Enlightenment?, Schlitz Gusto Classic 1960s Formula, and Lawsonís Finest Liquids Chinookeríd IPA on tap, Chopped Pork BBQ plate with collard greens and maple baked beans, Pit Smoked Chicken plate and multiple glasses of Evolucio Furmint for my better half.
What I liked: Redwood walls, dark ambiance, and candle-lit tables give the bar a cozy, cabin-like atmosphere, incredible draught list with many of Vermontís best beers on offer, top notch barbecue (perfectly seasoned, huge smoke flavour, delicious sides), ample space between tables provides plenty of privacy, waiter and bartender were engaging, efficient, and made great recommendations, well laid-out beer menu, gorgeous, towering bar, cool t-shirts (I bought the charcoal grey one), even the patrons were friendly.
What I disliked: Nothing.
Would I go back? Without question. We had a very memorable experience here and will return any time we find ourselves in Vermont. I wish I could transplant this place to Toronto.
Overall Rating: 100

Nice ambiance, very relaxed and enjoyable. Good amount of seating for a small place. Service is friendly and prompt. Tons of world-class beers on tap at reasonable prices for half and full pours. Food is excellent, but is expensive for what it is. Still, itís worth the money. Awesome place.

Great beers on tap, though all of the ones most people would come for were tapped out when I visited on a Sunday such as the HFs etc. The food is very good but very expensive. I had the brisket and it was amazing but small and didnít include and sides. Service was so-so, kind of like the big commercial restaurant vibe. Still, Iíd give the place another try if I was in the area, though Iíd hit Black Back first.

Heady on draft, what else do you need to know? Rest of the draft list was pretty weak, but you arenít coming here to tick, come to drink HT. Gastro pub feel, clean, modern, exciting. Food looks great, Iíd love to try dinner here, nice liquor selection as well.

Amazing place. Cool pub atmosphere. Very attractive. The service was attentive and friendly. There was a great selection of craft beers, including locals. The food? Duck fat fries! Plus other things that were amazing! Very reasonable prices as well. Beer is served in either half pints or full pints. Great place!
