Fantastic food, great wine selection, fairly decent bottled beer selection. Nothing rare, but solid choices. Service can be effete, to match the evening clientele.

I love this place. I always go right to the bar, if you wait a few minutes, a seat or two usually frees up. The beer selection isn’t well-publicized in the bar, but they do have a pretty good set of bottles available. The wine is always great, and the food is fantastic. Worth a visit.

Classy place just across from the National Portrait Gallery. Bar is usually packed with locals. Mostly wine and creative mixed drinks, but they have an extremely well chosen selection of 30 beers in bottles, with no losers or mediocre beer among them. Did not try the food, but I’d like to return to do so.
