Average beer and food here, not bad though, beer releases from Fordham/dominion with glasses and socials every first Thursday

This watering hole is neatly situated right in old town Annapolis. On the plus side, the bartenders were friendly and happy to give you a taste of anything they had on tap. The taps are the downside. Mostly Fordham, Dominion, and InBev brews on tap, none of which are particularly good. Thankfully there are a few guest taps and a few decent bottles, but there isn’t anything that you can’t find in a decent grocery store. Maybe less so. It’s a great location with good people. Now if they only had some good beer...

Cavernous place with lots of nooks and crannies, sone of them cozy enough for a midern place. Only a handful of Fordham and two Dominions on tap, plus some macros. Bar food was tasty. Nice happy hour specials, but only available at sests from which you can see the TV.

Came for happy hour and waited for seat at bar. Service was slow and then they turned over and forgot i wanted food. Their beer is mediocre but its the only brewey around. Someone needs to change that..... Update* Heard about their bottle list and 100 beer club and took a look at it last night. Nothing that i hadn’t already rated and nothing uncommon. I Bumped up my selection 1 point.

This is a great place to go and listen to good music and have a good beer.

Ramshead Tavern is located in an old but revitalized section of Annapolis. Patrons have two options: enter through the main doors and grab a patio table or indoor spot, or take the narrow concrete stairs and enter the tavern, nearly on top of other people. The tavern is quaint and somewhat cramped, but serves its purpose. There were 6 house selections available along with several guest drafts, and a fairly large liquor collection. The service was average at best; I ran out of beer and water without getting asked for refills. The food came out way to quickly to be freshly prepared, so that worried me somewhat. Overall, a decent place to grab some beers and some average food.

Nice place with good service and great prices. Very few people there on a monday night, even though they had happy hour and live music. 7 of there own beers was on tap and they where pretty good.

Pretty cool bar in the Annapolis historic area that is quite the local hangout. Lots of taps- probably about 15 taps but lots of duplicates so really only about 8-10 beers on tap at any given time. This is the place to try a lot of the Old Dominion / Fordham beers, which are pretty hit or miss. I’m not sure on how frequently they rotate kegs but there seemed to be some seasonals and oddities on tap when I was there. Food is very nice- family style restaurant with some good stuff. Bottle list is existent, but didn’t see anything of tremendous interest. 200 bottles on the list is really pushing it- not sure who put that there. 50 tops. No way 200 lol. This place is not expensive, especially compared to places in the area. If you are looking for a local hangout with pretty much only local beers on tap, this is really the place to go in Annapolis.

Decent place to stop buy if you happen to be in the Annapolis area. Decent bar style food, live music every night, and a good selection of beers.
