I think it’s meant to be a hipster place, but a modernish bar with a firefighter (WTF?) theme doesn’t really qualify. Anyway, it’s perfectly nice. I was there late Sunday night with some very drunk (but not rowdy) locals. Barman was helpful. The selection didn’t seem so big, but they did have some rareish Latvian micros.

Clean, but maybe a bit "clubby" appearance. Nice selection of local beers, and they were all delicious. Food menu looked interesting, but I didn’t eat. Friendly staff spoke good English. If it’s a hot summer day and you’re near here, what are you waiting for - just sit on the terrace with an Uzavas or a Tervetes, you know it makes sense.

Modern semi-chain cafe for young folks who like thatsort of beaty music that never really goes anywhere except up itself. But that aside, the sight of taps for Madonas, Valmiermuiza, Tervetes and unfiltered Uzavas all in a row should not be ignored. And they are a friendly interwoven crew.
